Biography
Jamileh Shafiei was a 66-year-old woman from Arak who was killed by direct fire from security forces while acting as a human shield to protect young protesters. According to her daughter, she urged the officers to target her instead of the youth. Following her death, her family was forced to bury her secretly under intense security pressure.
